托马斯·F. 弗里曼荣誉学院 has limited scholarships. 然而, the College works in partnership with other colleges/schools at the University to offer competitive scholarships and financial packages (including a review of the student’s eligibility for restricted and unrestricted 荣誉学院 scholarships, funds from private philanthropic organizations, 其他州的豁免, 佩尔助学金, 德州拨款, 一般大学奖学金, and loans) to entering high school freshmen who are admitted into the 荣誉学院.

The student must first apply to the University for acceptance. 学生 must also complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and list the 德克萨斯南方大学 (TSU) school code (003642) so that the report can be sent directly to TSU. Once a student is admitted to 德克萨斯南方大学 (TSU), the 荣誉学院 staff will work closely with the student from start to finish to ensure outstanding guidance throughout the process. The following is a guide used in the awarding of Honors scholarships, once a FAFSA has been completed and submitted to TSU. The Office of Financial Assistance will post awards for which students are eligible. A student may receive a Department/College or School scholarship that partners with the 荣誉学院 in awarding scholarships.

托马斯·F. 弗里曼荣誉学院 Scholarship Levels For First-Time Freshmen should read as follows:

Level I: Amount: $14,000 per year, $7,000 per semester (4 years)

高中平均成绩4分.0 +  

Level II: Amount: Up to $10,000 per year, $5,000 per semester (4 Years)

高中平均绩点3分.81 to 3.9; 

Level III: Amount: $9,000 per year, $4,500 per semester (4 Years)

The student's packet will be received with a holistic approach. While a student's academic performance is very important, we also view evidence of community service, 对学习多样性有兴趣, 非常重要的一点, we also view evidence of community service, 对学习多样性有兴趣, and recommendation letters from teachers as key indicators of a student's future success at a four-year academic institution.

Requirements to Remain in Good Standing in the 荣誉学院:

学生 must maintain both a semester and cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.25 to remain a member of the 托马斯·F. 弗里曼荣誉学院. If a first-time freshman drops below a 3.25 GPA but has a GPA that allows for a mathematical chance of raising the GPA to 3.25 the next semester, the student will be allowed to remain in the 荣誉学院.

All students must participate fully in the 荣誉学院 Program.
